LOCAL CHURCH AUTONOMY - REALLY ???
For the fifty-years-plus that I have been involved in Christian leadership, most have involved working alongside fellow pastors, ministers and priests from different denominations. I am a “kingdom of God” sort of bloke, so I have never found myself ogling at someone else’s success, worship team, building or car park for that matter. If someone else is doing good, I think about it as good for the kingdom.

EXPONENTIAL REVIVAL
A new form of revival has been happening in many different parts of the world during the past thirty years. Unlike many of the better-known revivals it has been going on under the radar and in places around the world where it is a serious crime to preach the gospel.

7. Conclusion: Are We There Yet? Here are some metrics to use that will shift us from talking about it to seeing it happen.

6. Culture: “They Devoted Themselves” (TDT) We need to develop an apostolic culture not manage a comfortable spiritual club.
5. CHURCH - People who live to fulfill the Great Commission Vision
Great Commission: We must envision, train and deploy our whole church into a work that has the drive and capacity to see the Great Commission fulfilled in our generation.
4. CHURCH - ordinary people with supernatural clothing
Holy Spirit power: We need a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit so we will offer an encounter with God rather than a bunch of information.
3. CHURCH - people who make known the tangible presence of the Kingdom of God
3. Kingdom of God: We must shape our identity and mission by the principles and values of the kingdom of God.
2. CHURCH - We are uncompromised disciples of Jesus
Discipleship: We must renew our commitment to unconditional discipleship as described in the New Testament.

Introduction: In Liminal Space. The church in the west is at a crossroads. Covid has exposed the need for a serious reset. The challenge will be to shape that reset on authentic Biblical principles.
